Joseph Forte Sr. formerly of 1210 Durfor Street Philadelphia, Pa. passed away peacefully 4 days shy of his 98th birthday. Beloved husband of the deceased Wanda (née Wszolek). Joe is survived by his sister Jean Tini, his three children Richard ( Babe ), Chuck (Betty Anne), Carole Ann Levi (Alan).
He was the proud grandfather to Joseph (Danielle) Forte, Richard (Anna Maria) Forte, Rose (Steve) Linden, Eric (Jenn) Forte, Damon Forte, Jeanine (Dave) Greeley, Gianni Ferullo. Joe also had 14 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Joe was a tailor the early part of his life, but his real passion was wood working. He was a true craftsman. He was the head cabinet maker at the Philadelphia Art Museum for 15 years, something he was very proud of.
Joe loved the beach and spent his summers in Wildwood. Later in life he he retired to Naples Florida. In his retirement years at the Carlisle he enjoyed his poker games, the gym and happy hour. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Beloved husband of 55 years to the late Wanda (née Wszolek). Predeceased by his Companion of 15 Years Rose Di Santi. Brother of the late Dominic.
