Obituary for Jennie Zinni

Born November 30, 1923 the
oldest of 5 children of Maria
and Jerry Noce. She was an
Icon on-the Passyunk Avenue.
She and her husband Louis ran
a dress shop for over 50 years
in South Philadelphia. When she
retired many years ago you
could see Lou and Jennie sitting
on the bench at Passyunk and
Moore, talking and enjoying the
people that would pass by and
pay their respects.
Lou passed away 9 years ago so
then it was just Jennie and her
companions but always the
Same Jennie having a
conversation with a friend or
passing on some wisdom to
young and old alike. Because of
their hard work and devotion to
the business their daughters
became Successful Boutique
business owners themselves.
She left a great legacy of
devotion to family and hard
work. They were the perfect
couple as they were ahead of
their time in sharing duties of
home and work. Jennie leaves a
wonderful family of children,
grandchildren and great grand-
children along with her
surviving brother Anthony
Noce. She was predeceased by
her brother and sisters William
Noce, Stella Frio (Tony),
Carmella Marino (Dominic).
She is survived by 4 children
Angela Abruzzese (Frank),
Gerald Zinni. Maria Bennett
(Sam) and Carolyn Zinni. She
was the loving grandmother of
Marc Abruzzese (Paola),
Audrey Kese (Drew) Frank
Abruzzese Jr. (Rosie) of
Wexford Ireland, Louis Abruzzese
(Alli) of Sonoma Ca.
Christopher Abruzzese (Emily)
of Baltimore Md. George Azar,
William Azar of Phoenix Az,
James Azar of NYC and all her
great grandchildren Tom
Caruso (Jess), Angela Abruzzese,
Isabella Kese, Andrew Kese,
Michael Abruzzese. Emmet
Abruzzese. In lieu of flowers family
